This is just one of those blogs to help you pay attention to your embroidered logo.
If you have an embroidered logo and you like the way it sews, check with your embroidery professional about getting a copy for your safe deposit box and/or your own computer. You will not be able to open it unless you have the embroidery software. You will also need a printed picture of the logo with the proper color sequence, and that’s best if you have the thread color numbers to match.
Gray is a color, gray 1718, Madiera Polyneon is a specific color. The number can usually be matched closely to other brands of thread so you logo looks the way it should.
If you have paid for digitizing, in my opinion you are entitled to a copy of your embroidery file and color sequence sheet. Some embroiderers will say you did not pay for digitizing you paid for setup and then charge you again for digitizing. By the way, digitizing is setup. It’s a way to get more money from you, or get you to stay with them. But what if you need a shirt done tomorrow and your favorite shop can’t get it done. You should be able to take to another shop to get it done in time.
At Busy Bees, we don’t want you to go anywhere else to get your work done, but if you’ve paid for digitizing, you should get a copy of it for your files. What’s fair is fair.
If there is anyway Busy Bees can help you, just give us a holler.
